„Say thank you“ – first experiences implementing the Agreement

We’ve taken the first steps to implement our agreement. I’ve already started sending messages to my submissive partner via the Signal messenger service, as our agreement stipulates that much of our communication should be written. We’ve established various categories of information that can be exchanged through Signal.

I began yesterday by informing my wife via Signal of a gift and letting her know that I had booked an upgraded hotel room for our upcoming vacation. She was visibly pleased, but she initially forgot to respond with a „Thank you.“ According to our agreement, she must reply with „Thank you“ to every piece of information sent via Signal, whether it’s a punishment, reward, or simple update. The first time, I reminded her and accepted her oversight.

„Seriously?“ she replied. „That’s a bit degrading!“ she added. Yes, it is somewhat degrading. That’s the point. So, two minutes later, she wrote „Thank you“ on Signal. The next morning, she woke up to a Signal message on her phone notifying her of a restaurant reservation for that evening. Dutifully, though perhaps not entirely voluntarily, she responded with „Thank you.“ It’s nice to see that my wife is so willing to learn.
